Keith® Walking Floor® – Operating a Safe Unload
- Park the truck and trailer by setting the parking brake
- Open and secure the trailer doors so that they are fully open
- Pull the ball valve handle out to close the valve
- Hook up the hydraulic hoses to the truck
- Engage the Power Take Off (PTO) and select the RPM to unload
- Ensure that the truck and trailer are operating correctly throughout the entire unloading process and never leave the truck and trailer alone
- Open the ball valve when the load has emptied, while the slats are in the forward position (see video)
- Disengage the PTO and secure the hydraulic hoses
- Close and secure the trailer doors
Note: In the event of an issue with the unloading of materials, skip to step 7 and 8 before consulting a mechanic for further direction.
