KEITH 101: What’s a Walking Floor System?

This video, from Keith Manufacturing Co. is a demonstration of how a Walking® Floor works.  The floor slats move hydraulically to transport contents to the front or back of a trailer or stationary platform.  The slats will move in three separate groups and then all together in unison.  When the slats are moving in three separate groups, they are resetting themselves so that they may move in unison to move the load in the trailer.  This type of system works well to efficiently empty contents of the trailer without using additional material handling equipment inside the trailer.
